Research interests
I am currently Rare Books and Maps Manager at the John Rylands Library, University of Manchester. I have worked in London, Oxford and Melbourne and completed the MA in the History of the Book at the University of London in 1997. I previously used the Plantin archives in her research on the sale and distribution of the Biblia Regia, the polyglot Bible published by Christopher Plantin from 1568 to 1573. My interests cover the international book trade in the 16th century, the study of libraries in the early modern period and the recording of provenance in library catalogues.
