Research interests

I work on the iconography of illuminated manuscripts produced between the 13th and the 15th century. I mainly study the medieval romances related to the legend of King Arthur, specially the iconography of the female figures in the Prose Lancelot du Lac and the Lancelot-Grail Cycle.I wish to continue my research on the representation of female, but also male, gender in the Arthurian literature and its images, and more generally in medieval art.
