Research interests

Currently I'm working on the manuscript tradition of Jacob van Maerlant's Rijmbijbel, of which ca. 75 manuscripts and fragments are still preserved today in different libraries, from London to Riga. I study the production, the way copyists worked, the reception and distribution of the text, and the European context of this Middle Dutch paraphrase of the Bible.
