Research interests
My research is focused on early modern plainchant, especially in printed sources. My interests include Reformation liturgies in German-speaking areas and Counter-Reformation liturgies in Italy and the Low Countries. I am particularly interested in how the music contained in early modern liturgical books conveys ideas surrounding religious identities.
