Research interests

My research interests are focused on the intersection between Classical tradition and Early Modern culture. Currently, I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the EHESS-CRH-Grihl in Paris. I am working on a seventeenth-century unpublished translation of Petronius' Satyricon into Italian The manuscript was intended for clandestine circulation and material evidence proves that the translation actually circulated within a public of popular readers.
