CFP Textual Transactions: Production, Circulation, Afterlives

This session invites papers that consider the interaction between cultural agents and textual matter in the creation, production, distribution, and/or reception of a literary work. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: the role of agents other than the author in the creation of a text (typographers, publishers, censors, readers, translators, political figures, etc.); the circulation of a text, its diffusion and after-life across media and genres; the changing dynamics of consumption; the relationship between textual discourses and identity formation.
